I don’t post enough to get use out of WordPress’s rich feature set, so it’s not worth the hassle of keeping it up-to-date anymore.  I kept the posts that still seem to be getting any traffic and archived the others.</p>

<p>I found these to be helpful resources in the transition:</p>

  <li><a href="https://github.com/Homebrew/legacy-homebrew/issues/2906">Fix homebrew</a> - I had problems with brew after ugrading to El Capitan.  Turns out it was permissions issues with my /usr/local directory.</li>
  <li><a href="https://github.com/benbalter/wordpress-to-jekyll-exporter">WordPress to Jekyll Exporter</a> - One-click plugin to export your WordPress content</li>
  <li><a href="https://michaelsoolee.com/google-analytics-jekyll/">Google Analytics setup for Jekyll</a> - I knew there had to be a good strategy for including analytics, and this seems straightforward enough without having to reinvent the wheel.</li>

<p>I hope this helps!
